VIN 11100: Introduction to Viticulture and Vineyard Establishment
Students in
VIN 11100: Introduction to Viticulture and Vineyard Establishment are asked to shadow their vineyard facilitator, discuss with the facilitator what is taking place in each step, and practice skills. It is anticipated that it will take the student approximately 16 hours to fully accomplish all skills practice and observations. This time can be completed in a variety of smaller time segments and is the responsibility of the student and his/her facilitator to arrange times that are mutually agreeable.
Once all possible observations and skills practices are complete, the facilitator is asked to complete this form an submit it online or via e-mail if you prefer to use a printed form. Printed (PDF) forms can be found on the Viticulture & Enology website at
www.kent.edu/ashtabula/program-resources. Should you have any questions about the student experience or any aspect of the Viticulture & Enology program, please contact Lori Lee at 440-964-4309 or llee5@kent.edu.
Thank you for your assistance in helping to educate and prepare future winemakers!
